Bedouin Culture Safari

Spend your time in the Dubai desert by exploring the Bedouin culture and interacting with the locals of the Bedouin community. Get a first-hand experience of living your life as a Bedouin nomad and get to know how the people of the Bedouin community sustained and thrived in the sand dunes of Dubai and how they hunted, herded, and camped in the desert. 

You will be enjoying the morning breeze of the Dubai desert in a Bedouin camp, listening to the stories of Bedouin people, and also will get a chance to play and interact with the hunter and loyal pet of Bedouin people, the Saluki dog. 

Your morning will be spent exploring the cultures of the Dubai desert and you will discover that the sand dunes have many stories that you have never heard of. 

We will pick you up from your hotel between 5:30 AM and 7:30 AM depending on the weather in the Dubai desert. The exact pickup time will be notified hours before the scheduled date of the Dubai desert safari. After pickup, we will arrive at the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve and will hand you the desert safari journey package that will include a headscarf, a water bottle, and a bag to keep your things. Once you are all set to start your exploration, we will head to the nearby authentic Bedouin camp on camels which will make you feel like a Bedouin nomad. The camel ride from Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve and the Bedouin camp is 15 minutes long.

After reaching the Bedouin camp, learn about the Bedouin community and their community. Interact with the local community people and explore their lifestyles. Play with the royal guard of the Bedouin community, the Saluki dog, and then enjoy a 25-minute falconry show in the middle of the desert. Have an authentic and delicious Emirati breakfast and see how it is prepared. After breakfast, rest for a little bit in the Bedouin camp listening to the storytellers of the community. Make your morning more active by dancing with the locals of the Bedouin community. Explore the glistening morning Dubai desert in a vintage land rover for 60 minutes. Return to your hotel between 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM before the scorching heat of the Dubai desert hits your face. 

  • Our package includes pick-up from Dubai hotels and you will be traveling in a shared, air-conditioned vehicle. You can book a private vehicle if you want.
  • It is wise to wear cool clothes and bring hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen to your desert safari as it might get swelter in the desert.
  • Bookings should be made hours before the scheduled date of the desert safari.
  • Children between the age of 5-11 will be charged with a rate that is lesser than that of adults.
  • If you have children below the age of 5, you will have to book a private car.
  • If you are six months pregnant, then a nature desert drive is not recommended to you.
