Private Night Safari And Astronomy

Want to know how the sky looks during the night when you are in the middle of the Dubai desert? Then we have a desert safari experience for you that involves exploring the sand dunes during the night, stargazing, and an informational astronomy session. 

You will traverse through the Dubai desert under the moonlight in a vintage Land Rover car and will partake in a short nocturnal eco walk. Our guide will be providing you with information about the nightlife of the Dubai desert throughout the journey. 

Spend the evening beside an oasis, enjoy a three-course Emirati meal, and smoke hookahs with your family/friends. End your evening by listening to astronomies and to the stories of how the Bedouin community people used astronomy to find directions. 

If you wish to extend your night in the desert, then you can stay overnight in the stone-dwelling rooms that provide every essential amenity. You can end your desert safari with a gourmet Emirati breakfast the next morning and if you want to make the morning more memorable, you can take a hot-air balloon flight. 

Get picked up from your Dubai hotel between 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM in an air-conditioned shared vehicle. The exact time of the pick-up will only be decided before a few hours of the journey and our team will notify you of the time once it is decided. After picking you up, we will travel to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve and after reaching there, we will give you a small package that has a water bottle, a headscarf, and a bag in it. 

Take a 60-minute journey through the evening sand dunes of Dubai desert in a vintage Land Rover and explore the desert on a nocturnal eco-walk along with our guide and try to rarely view creatures like scorpions and sandfish. 

Completing your adventurous yet calmful eco-walk, you can relax beside a private oasis where you will be served a three-course exquisite meal. End your night by partaking in an astronomy session by a professional astronomer and gazing at the stars with your loved ones. Return to your hotels between 10:30 PM and 11:30 PM. Your desert safari will last approximately five hours.

To make the most of your evening, you can stay overnight in the desert in a stone-dwelling room and return to your hotel the next morning after enjoying a delicious Emirati breakfast and partaking in a hot air balloon flight. 

  • Your pick-up will be shared by other members of the safari tour. If you want to journey without any strangers, then you can choose a private vehicle.
  • If you have any preference regarding the meals or are allergic to any foods, please notify us in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
  • Ensure that you are dressed comfortably for the desert weather and carry necessary things such as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the heat.
  • Booking should be made online in advance. 
  • If you are planning to stay overnight, bear in mind that, even though regular pest controls are carried out in each room, there might be some harmless insects present in the camp as ours is an eco-friendly desert operator.
